If LSU can have a season without major distractions, they could compete for the national championship.

Coming off an absolute pounding of Miami in the Peach Bowl, expectations certainly are high, but LSU's QB controversy, could prove debilitating. I'm going to put them at 9-3, with road losses to Auburn, Florida, and an on-again/off-again Tennesse team. But then again, it's only July! So I could be completely wrong! In fact, I'm sure I will be, but that's half the fun of it--I could be right.

Very good team. Will probably lose to Auburn and maybe Florida but definetly a top 10 team again.

10-2... their 4 road games are very tough and i believe they will split them and win all 8 home games on the arm of jamarcus russell

If they can run the ball consistently I would say they would only lose 1 maybe 2 but probably just 1
