no not wihtout a playoff format they can not win in the SEC they could not even beat arkansa in the SEC west. Aslong as there is this if you can win your confrence in the regular season attitude then they wont win in the SEC untill the confrence either gets substantianly weakened or they change it to a playoff format. If I was desperate for the 10 points for best answer I would say yes, but No! Its possible, but Florida will be tough. Sadly USC will play the weak PAC-Crap and go undefeated and then play a team from the SEC or Big 10 who is beat up from these tough conferences and then play them in their own back yard. If LSU had a conference like the PAC- 10 to play in the no doubt about the championship. USC will win it all because they are not in the sec like LSU and Flordia NO WAY it's possible, but unlikely. i have LSU as my preseason #2 behind USC. idk since their best QB is in the NFL now If they play USC they will lose. USC crushes SEC teams. I mean crushes them. I think if they make it they win it,but the have to beat Florida(not gonna happen)and face Nick Saban.They have a tough road and if they win the SEC they deserve it. I would love to see them crush USC.USC beats SEC teams,but they play Vandy.and The first game against ARK. How about Tennessee CRUSHING Cal last year and will again this year.USC would not stand a chance against a top SEC defense. The guy who said LSU didnt beat Arkansas. LSU did beat Arkansas the last game of the season but Arkansas had a better conference record so thats why they were in the SEC championship game. LSU will be the champs. The only other team I can see winning the national championship is USC. People keep on saying Michigan will win it but when is the last time Michigan won a big game. If Michigan plays USC then you know they have no chance. LSU will have the best defense in the country and Matt Flynn will make people forget about Russell. They will have home field advantage again. it is predicted that LSU will be the 2007 national champions. they are ranked #2 in the preseason. they said matt flynn is the next matt mauck. I Know they have the talent , they could of even beat Florida last year but they didn,t. Not taking anything away from Florida i ,m a LSU fan 1st and then a SEC fan next . AS FOR AS USC CRUSHING SEC TEAMS WELL WHEN THEY PLAY A REAL SEC TEAM LIKE LSU OR FLORIDA TENN, AUBURN THEN THEY CAN TALK. USC is not going to be as good as the last 2 or 3 years anyway. I think there dominance is going down in the PAC everybody is Gunning for them. I hate USC but I think they will win it all. Dont count out Michigan who has a lot of key guys returning. Also if West Virginia with Pat White and Steve Slaton get through a week schedule, look for them. Who knows, at this point the National Championship is everybody's to lose, however I don't think there's another team out there as well equiped as LSU is to make USC look as over rated as Florida did to The Ohio State University (a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of Florida). Wow!!!! SEC fans are really CRAZY!!!! I agree that LSU will be in the title game only because all of their tough games are at home. As for USC . . . .they pretty much beat everybody they play!!!! so crazy SEC fan . . . . you should look at the last couple of years and see what they have done to the BIG 10,SEC AND BIG12 . And i am only talking about USC and not the conference. I say USC AND LSU IN THE TITLE GAME!!! I doubt it. LSU still has a great team and a great coach, but it's hard to lose your QB and still be national champion-caliber. Also, the SEC is the toughest sections to play in; there's just too much talent to be a great team and win the national championship. To win the SEC, you have to be PERFECT. |
