I know it's along way off, but i just noticed that Appy States next game against a major college team is in 2009.

Wow, i'm betting ESPN is on the phone now trying to get that game televised.

What does eveyone think about this ? Will you watch that game even tho it's 2 years away?

Quite Tiger.....You my friend have just given me an honest answer. My point here is the fact that some TV outlet will play this like a fiddle because of Appy's win. I hope that you can watch it live.

Hopefully I'll be in Tiger Stadium that day.

I remember watching LSU play Appy State a couple of years ago and even though the score was 24-0, I couldn't help but think that that was impressive team the Tigers played.

LSU had it's starters in early in the fourth when the score was 14-0, but when Appy pulled theirs (They had found out they were going to the 1-AA playoffs and decided not to risk injuries) LSU did the same.

Appalachian State caught Michigan at their most overrated moment in history. Of course Mike Hart done awesome and Henne fairly ok BUT they did lose Leon Hall, LaMarr Woodley, David Harris, and Alan Branch not to mention others off a good D last year. This team just wasnt good enough. LSU on the other hand is a team that would crush ANY Division 2 team year in and year out. Their used to facing teams like, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Arkansas

That's...2 years away.

LSU has a much stronger D than Michigan so appalachian state wont be able to score like they were able to on Michigans D. But hey then again it is the unknown, enything can happen that is the beauty of sports. so yes ill definately watch the game

As usual LSU will be playing against my favorite college team, which is whoever is beating the Tigers.
