ok oregon has beaten 2 ranked teams( and asu benefited from all the droppings this year-they havent beaten anyone)-and i hear them say lsu has made a million penalties-but they still won the game!they have played 6 ranked teams and won 5-and their one loss on the road in 3 ot's

I am a Big Ten fan. I saw Oregon should be #2. They have the 3rd toughest schedule and have only lost to then Top5 Cal. LSU is playing a tough shcedule as well but not dominating like Oregon is. LSU has a lot of really really close games, but htey are winning them. So I think they are virtually even but I give Oregon the nod because of the quality of their wins and the margain or victory.

And LSU's defense cante really be that great! They have given up 24, 43, 24, and 34 in the last four games! Sounds like a stellar defense to me??? And Oregon's offense is much better than any of those. Id like to see them play right now and the winner get Ohio State. Too bad there is no plus one game yet!

First off I will say I think LSU should be #2.

But on that note the SEC is not as strong as most people think. You may be better than the other conferences but not by as much as you think.

We have found out South Carolina is not as good as everyone thought, Kentucky should have dropped out of the top 25 after losing 3 out of 4. The last one at home against Mississippi State.

So of your 6 ranked teams SC is no longer ranked, Auburn will be out after they lose to Georgia, Alabama could be on there way out to. LSU is by far the best team in the SEC, after them they are a bunch of good teams, not great teams. Now you non objective SEC fans can insert yours thumbs down, thanks

No Way. Oregon is not near as good as LSU. Playing in a weaker conference benefits them. They would have at least 3 losses in the SEC by now.

Becouse Oregon has more games that were a blowout and LSU has more games that they almost lost then just complete won and pac 10 is tougher then SEC.

oregon should be ahead of lsu number 1 because of strength of schedule (oregon has the number 3 toughest schedule according to yahoo rankings) number 2 because of the way they win, they dominate games and number 3 because for the most part part they are blowing out the opponent. and as far as the loss to cal goes oregon statisticly blew cal out in that game... just had a bad game everyone does. but oregon would beat either of the two teams ahead of them handily and everybody thats not an lsu or ohio state fan knows it.

Heck yeah they should LSU has been living on pure LUCK, they should have 4 loses by they've been barely escaping teams they should be "Wolloping", they shouldn't even be in the top ten if you ask me.

LSU is way too overrated. Oregon will dominate all teams.

I think Oregon should be in front of LSU because of the fact that the Pac-10 is a better conference than the SEC... thats basically the biggest reason why Oregon should be ahead of LSU
