oregon plays as tough a schedule or tougher than anyone in the country. michigan (ranked in the top 10 when they played them) usc #2, cal #2, and arizona state #2. and still they have to play a very very good arizona team that thumped the ducks in autzen last year during the free fall, ucla and you never know which ucla team will show up but oregon and ucla just hate each other and a lot of oregon's players are from the ucla area and were recruited by them, and lastly oregon state and the 100+ year rivalry is about 50/50 so that game isnt in the bag either. oregon's schedule would kick 99.9% of the nations butox and the teams they play are every bit as good as anyone in the country. oregon is truely the number 1 team in the country no ifs ands or buts as on right now. watch them on thursday and see for yourself. they play arizona there and should be a great game. |

That would be CBS's SOS not the one used for the BCS... Keep that in mind as Oregon pounds the crap out of LSU. They're both good teams. All you PAC-10 homos talking smack about LSU can suck it. People were talking the same sh t about LSU when they played Oklahoma 3 years ago about how LSU was going to get smeared by Oklahoma and how they couldn't hang with a Big XII team and of course LSU proved them wrong and beat Oklahoma. It would be a close game if they do play eachother. There are actually a number of pollsters & organizations who rank Oregons SOS ahead of LSU's: Oregon may have a SLIGHT edge in strenght of schedule for now, but LSU will play another ranked team in the sec title game putting them over the top with a win. Oregon should be number one...and they will be at the end of the season without a doubt. |
