| LSU is the 3 most penalized team in football.? |
|
Lots of people are saying that LSU has the officials on thier side. It doesnt look like that based off of that stat. How is a team 3 in the nation in penalties getting help from the officials? |

People will say anything they want to try to knock a team off its pedestal, regardless of how stupid they look or how little factual support they have. People will watch one LSU game, see one or two uncalled penalties, and extend their theory across the entire season. It is absolutely rediculous, and what literaries call a "fallacy". If someone was to watch the UF/Kentucky game this year, there were a couple plays at the end of the game that were borderline pass-interference against UF. I think it was great defense, but people would have seen it the way they wanted to. That's the way it is with these people. No support. Just theory and denial. |

i think it has to do with timely penalties. a team may only get one penalty the whole night. but if its pass interference in the end zone on the last play of the game, it can make a huge difference. Its the type of penalties called against them, the obvious ones penalties or major ones arent called against LSU the way they should be I think there have only been 3 or 4 holding calls against the opposing offenses all year. How the hell does the best defensive line in the country NOT get held often? Who's side are the refs supposed to be on? Not LSU's, thats for sure. Everyone should try watching the games from a neutral position. LSU was flagged for many pass interference penalties against Kentucky that was kinda weak.. Also look at the game winning catch against Auburn. Their defender was holding one of Byrd's hands as he was forced to make a one handed catch. No interference was called on that one. People just take their shoot however they can because they are not intelligent enough to come up with a real reason their team should be #1... |
