| Is the Florida loss a good thing or a bad thing for LSU? |
|
Does Florida come in to next week as a spoiler for LSU after their loss and try and nock LSU out. Or because of the loss in the swamp did they leave everthing on the field and come out flat. And to u LSU fans dont just say that LSU will win because u like ur team just be objective please. I dont thin Florida will roll or get rolled I think this will be a close game. I believe the team that has the most emotion will win based on that LSU slight egde being at home. Im a Texas fan who picked K State to win, but most of all im a college football fan |

It's a bad thing for a couple of reasons. If LSU wins it won't be as impressive for BCS reasons because Florida is no longer unbeaten. Another reason it is bad for LSU is because Florida may be even more fired up after losing to Auburn. They know that they cannot lose another game, period. Last year they won the national championship after losing to Auburn, so they will be willing to pull out all stops to win this one. |

I think FL should be more fired up to win after that loss to Auburn which could sort of be a bad thing for LSU. The really good teams will win no matter what though. I'm a FSU fan, but it won't matter. LSU is on a roll, like 'em or not. That defense will shut down Tebow and expose him for being overrated. Florida played a lackluster Ohio State team last year. Anytime you lose to an unranked Auburn team at home with no passing game, that says a lot. Same goes for Oklahoma. Just facts. indifferent thing. sports writers etc exaggerate all those motivational effects. the players will be fired up or whatever regardless of what happened last week. it's a big game. As a Florida fan i think it is a good thing. Just look at last year when Florida lost to Auburn that loss propelled them through the rest of the season and as Urban Meyer says you cant tell how much of a man someone is until they get hit in the face. That is exactly what happend to us on Saturday but i think it will be good and we will win the rest of the season. How bout this There's not a doubt in my mind that Florida will come to Death Valley looking for a BIG WIN! By uprooting LSU, they move back up the rankings and, now they get to say that they beat the #1 team in the nation. Last year, their loss to Auburn was their only one on route to the nat'l title. This is a bad thing for LSU. You saw what happened to Florida both this year and last year. Auburn came into both games following an embarassing loss. They came out onto field with more energy and passion than Florida because they had their backs against the wall while Florida came out flat in the 1st half (this weekend). While I don't expect a 14-0 first half, I do expect a more energized and prepared Florida team . If Florida can sustain the energy throughout the game I like their chances. This is a must win for them if they want to stay in national championship contention, so at the very least I expect them to keep it close. |
