It's disappointing to me that instead of finding weaknesses on the football team that they insult the entire university instead.

LSU isn't exactly a pillar of academic excellence, but it's still a great school.

And on/off about that defense is an understatement.

Ohio State was questioned all last year, and they would not stop talking about the Troy Smith incident that occurred 2 years prior. Mainly, everyone attacks the #1 team and will question everything about them. LSU does deserve to be #1, they have played some good games and they have, in my opinion, the toughest of all schedules this year. (Ohio State's was tougher last year...sorry) LSU has played a lot great teams and won..and most have been ranked. Just a warning, to get to big of a head, because you they can be knocked off that Pedestal real quick. Don't forget they also have the SEC championship game to worry about, which means the possibility of another Florida meeting.

Again, they deserve to be #1, they deserve the attention, and they most certainly have the toughest schedule...just don't count your chickens before they hatch. OSU is prime example of that last year.

IDK, but LSU has a great Bio Department. But back to what matters, LSU is coming up here to Commonwealth Stadium. They have allot to face. I'd like to know how well their "studying" our high explosive Offense and our on/off Defense.

so many of the questions and comment surrounding LSU lately are just ridiculous, LSU is a great school, as are all the schools in the SEC. and for that matter just about all universities here in the united states are good schools. these people that criticize LSU probably didn't go to college anyway.
there are very few weaknesses on the LSU team. maybe they start slow but once they get rolling they show how good they are.

Look at the grammar of the guys making all the claims that LSU's academics are poor. It's Austin N using his 3 dozen different usernames. I wouldn't think too much into it. There's no weakness in your football team, and he's pissed about losing to Stanford. Just tell him to "care about it".

Isn't it funny that all of this started after USC lost. They know they would lose the argument if they said their football team was better, so they try to disparage LSU's academics.
However, if you pay attention to the poor grammer and spelling of those posts, they prove that they lose the academic argument as well.
I almost feel sorry for them. Their team sucks and they are too stupid to realize that their academics suck also.

The funny thing is that all those who are taking shots at LSU are very poor in their ability to spell and use proper grammar. It seems they are the ones lacking in education. I guess they have to make up something bad since they can clearly see that the LSU team is far superior to theirs. I really hope they are able to pass their remedial classes and learn the English language. Fight on!! LOL

I question LSU's offense. They have had to resort to trick plays to score. Their defense is great against the run, but they haven't played anyone with both a good running and passing game. I think a good balanced offense can outscore LSU's questionable offense.

haha don't worry. most of them are just usc fans (mostly austin n) that forget the fact that Matt Leinart was enrolled in basketweaving or ballroom dancing or some other crap course like that in his last year of eligibility at usc.
