well, Notre Dame is constantly being overrated by sports writers. They didn't have a great defense at all this year. They've been overrated, in fact, for quite some while. That's why it seems to be funny/amazing that they haven't won a bowl game in a long time...

Actually I believe ND is 0 -10 in last 10 bowl games over 14 years. They are also 0 - 16 in their last 16 against teams that finished the year ranked in the top 10.

Hard to believe people still think ND is a powerhouse. Urban Meyer knew not to go there. He already has a National championship while mighty Charlie Weis has yet to beat a team that finished the year in the top 10. Got to tell ya something!!!!

I think its hillarious! In the 1980"s they got an exlcusive contract from I think ABC and the world had to suffer through those games and the rest of the country was like "why do we have to see this crap?"
Since big schools beat up on little schools for most of the season Im glad to see ND be losers.
Id also like to see Nebraska and Miami lose too

I don't think it's funny they they're losing. But I think it's funny how over rated they are. Yes, they are indeed pathetic.

They play no "true" football schools besides USC and Michigan, then get dominated by they. Then go off and almost get beat by stanford. They barely get over the armed forces teams.

They deserve NOTHING that they have been given the past 10 years, they haven't done anything to earn it. They might be a top 25 team, barely, but definatly not top 10, let alone top 5.

Notre Dame is horrible. Grow a pair, join a conference, and then win, then you might earn something.

I'm sitting pretty good because my teams are doing well. Michigan, Hawaii, Boise State. All except Miami who will be back up there in a couple years.

What you dumbasses fail to realize is Notre Dame struggles because they recruit students who play football. That's why the have one of the highest graduation rates in D1.
