Mongoda, I read your link. Dumb. All you ND fans are saying "our team is young, thats why we don't score any touchdowns or gain any rushing yards". Why isn't that a problem for any other teams? If you don't mind being the laughing stock of college football, the door mat for every tean out there, then keep doing what you're doing. You're breaking new ground for ND, you're re-writing the record books! ha ha ha.

Easily the worst ND coach, unless you count George O'Leary. Sadly though, he won't get canned, due to his huge contract that ND would have to buy out.

Good call. When things go wrong its automatically the coaches fault and when things go right it is because of the exceptional athletes. Charlie Weis is a good coach his team just is not very good this year. Report It

well the players suc to but charlie is pretty bad to i always thought that but they will probaly keep him till the end of the year

Poor Poor Charlie, it's a shame Charlie has a very young team and a very bad line. I don't think Notre Dame will be a good team, howver next year, they might turn some heads and be in the top 25.
Weis is not the worst coach ever, he's just starting and he needs to find the right people for his system. Example would be June Jones when he was hired on in Hawaii, he needed the right people to run the Run and Shoot offense, it takes about 2 years for them to develop the system.

He certainly has the least amount of talent that I've seen on a Notre Dame team!

Yeah he doesn't have much of a team to work with except his QB.

before you guys go anointing best or worst...or talking about ST. Willingham...read the link. Weis obviously has some issues......but at least then some of you could try intellligent criticism. I know that is asking alot outta college fans....but hey, if one person actually pulls their head out of their butt and learns what they are talking about...my mission is done.

It's hard to say if youth is really the problem, lack of motivation, or the coaching staff. Something needs to turn around, and turn around quickly in South Bend. I don't see Weis getting fired after this year regardless, but I also don't even see them making a bowl game. I think they'll finish the season 4-8 with their only wins against Navy, Air Force, Duke, and Stanford.
