the most overrated qb prospect of all time is the qb coach trying to teach these youngsters. |

I have been a ND fan for 35 yrs and sometimes the expections are to high and sometimes you just cant win a game and have a bad year. It happens but the coach is not the problem |

No Quinn was just fast enough to avoid getting eaten by Fat Boy. I think a bigger problem is not grooming a kid to take over the QB position after a senior leaves. They should have at least some playing time, and at least a year of practice with a team before they are thrust into the spotlight. It's part of the meltdown in Michigan - Before Mallett came THIS YEAR we had no one, NO ONE who could even attempt to play QB in Michigan if Henne got hurt. And now look what you've got. Same thing with ND - Someone should have been grooming under Brady Quinn. Awful, awful coaching. Charlie is the problem. When you don't surround him with NFL talent on offense, he falls apart. He does not know how to motivate his troops too, which shows every time they took the field this year. |
