| Michigan football ranking? |

Ok so I was thinking... How did Michigan jump from 25 to 12 by beating Minnesota? Did the pollsters do this to make the Ohio State vs Michigan game seem like two good teams are playing? Because I think Michigan is going to get run over by Ohio State, but I still don't think Ohio should be even close to #1? I think Kansas should be where they are and mizzou right where they are |

Michigan still has a football team? |

I guess you think Kansas should be? If the other undefeated's had the history that Ohio State does they would be up there too. However they dont. Enjoy! Less because they beat Minnesota, more because they beat Minnesota handily without Hart and Henne while 10 top 25 teams lost. What are youthinking. Michigan will wax OSU in Ann Arbor. Michigan got out of the gate a little wobbly to say the least. The way they are playing now is completely different. It has just been one of those kind of years. The only thing Michigan has lost a shot at is the National Title. They could easily be the Big Ten champs. The Ohio State @ Michigan game will be an exciting one and if OSU should win, they would deserve to be #1. im telling you.. i live in indy.. and i watch michigan every week cause i have the big ten network.. and man.. they are not the team they were in the beginning They didn't jump that far. Two weeks ago they were ranked 25th, last week they were ranked 20th, now they are ranked 12th this week. Michigan is one of the hottest teams in the country right now. This past weekend South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, South Florida, Kentucky and USC all lost, all of which were ahead of Michigan in the rankings. Michigan moves just ahead of them they would go from 20th to 14th. You have to let Michigan hop over Hawaii because of toughness of schedule (even though it technically isn't a part of the process). Texas struggled for a little over 3 quarters against a bad Nebraska team, so they hopped over them too. Michigan won easily with a backup quarterback and 2 backup running backs against a poor Big Ten opponent, but still a Big Ten opponent. I don't think Michigan will get run over by Ohio State, that is almost always a close game. Wow you beat Notre Dame, Eastern Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, and overratted PURDUE, and PENN STATE (must be a BIG10 thing to overrate teams). with a couple of exceptions, the polls are a joke. Well actually they were ranked 20 before Minnesota and I don't know if they take this into consideration when they do the rankings but they beat both Illinois and Minnesota without Mike Hart and with their backup quarterback, who is a true freshman. This is actually just to comment on BIGBLUE's answer...1 loss and out of the top 25 all year??? Do you think there are seriously 25+ undefeated teams left every year? LOL GO BLUE!!! |
