The biggest thing in college football now is team speed. Everywhere. Every position. Vince Young was the difference last year.

OSU has more speed at QB, wide receiver, and the offensive line. Texas has a bit more at the running backs, but OSU can keep pace.

I am not certain about the defensive lines. The linebackers are about even. I think OSU has more speed at the defensive back position.

I also tip the hat to Tressel. Even in years where his team were outmatched, he found game plans to win. He is also great at making minor adjustments.

I think OSU will win, but will not be suprised if Texas can pull it out.

I think it's gonna be close, but that the buckeyes will squeak past the horns. I mean, vince young was such a vital part of what they did last year, I don't think a team can lose such a special talent like his and expect to be just as good as they were with him.

Depends on who gets to bring 'their' refs to the game. In big games, I stick with the home team. I actually hate both schools, so I hope the wear each other out.

I have picked the Buckeyes to win but it should be a great game. As a Penn State fan, I will be cheering for Texas...lol.

Buckeyes..No doubt!!

The Ohio State Buckeyes, of course!

Ohio State will win by 10 points ( I have been saying this for weeks), last Saturday should have shown the entire nation this. Touchdown passes on first three drives, with little effort. On the first play of the second quarter they (OSU) scored their fourth touchdown. They (OSU) then started running the ball and pulling starters out of the game.

Northern Illinois may be a Mac team, but they have a good team. They will completely dominate the Mac, especially with the high caliber running back that they have.

Buckeyes.

The team who commits the fewest turnovers in this game should win. I was confident in our defense, but now I am somewhat leery of their lackluster play last week.
I believe in Coach Tressel, and his ability to adapt to whatever Texas will throw at our team.

Texas by 2 touchdowns.

They couldn't handle Texas last year in Columbus, they don't even sniff them in Austin.
Colt McCoy proved last week that he can hang on to the football well enough to allow the running game and the defense to win games.
Ohio State proved last week that their defense can't stop the running game, even against Northern Illinois.
It's still summertime in Austin. Jamaal Charles runs all over the Buckeye defense and Troy Smith melts in the heat.

I-35 North should be pretty empty at halftime so the Buckeye fans shouldn't hit much traffic getting an early start out of my state.
