| Why does everybody say that priest holmes wasnt good because he had a great o-line? |
|
The only season he played at texas was his last one and he had 524 yards i think, he was backing up ricky williams anyway... yes willie roaf is a hall of famer and their o-line rivals the cowboys of the 90's but there was backs before priest that played when roaf was ther and they didnt break records...priest should be considered to be in the hall of fame because numbers are good but you dont have to have every record and be a hall of famer, lynn swann didnt average over 30 catches a year over his career but he evolved the wide out position...also i never heard of larry johnson until he was in his 2nd year at kc, i heard he rushed for over 2,000 yards his final year at penn state, why wasnt he the number 1 pick or at least a top five pick, i swear when will people stop listening to nfl draft "experts" they miss on all the great players (moss rice terrell owens larry johnson marino) and say they wont be great or even average, they said marcus allen will only get 600 yards a year. |

For the same reason they say Emmitt Smith was not that good. They wish they had 'em! |

what are you smokin crack? I don't know how anybody who ever saw Priest Holmes in his prime could say that he was not a great running back. |
