| Who are the second greatest college football fans? |

Number 1 is of course Penn State. You can not ignore the fact that the population of State College increases by 100,000 for any given game weekend |

I've lived in Austin, TX almost my whole life and Texas only has fans when they are winning. Back in '97 when they only won 4 games nobody went to the games so I'm sorry but they do not have the best fans. I'd have to go with Michigan even though I'm an Auburn fan. Report It The second greatest football fans would have to be michigan they have the record for the longest amount of sold out games. i think you might be on something if you think penn is the best wow? Michigan and Ohio State have huge active fan bases. Well...for the sake of argument, the answer would be Michigan. I'm not even really a Michigan fan, but the house capacity is 107,000 but it sells 111,000 tickets a night. It's rated one of the top stadiums for structure in the United States, and visiting teams have to game plan for the noise level because the lineman can't hear the QB audibles...let alone the receivers/running backs. Not to mention they are a perennial bowl team, and have a long standing history with many rival teams including, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and, now, USC. Hard to argue. Good question. Regardless of your adding Penn State as the #1 people would only put down their favorite school. I'm gonna go with the University of Texas. As a Penn State fan i agree, but since i live in Alabama I would have to go with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. They have crazy fans who are obsessed with the team. They can pretty much buy any coach they want (Saban) and had over 92,000 people at their spring game, more than most teams have during a regular season game. Probably Michigan snce they get alot of people in the Big House. But who cares, whos the best team is the better question and thats USC. of course Penn State is #1 |
