why doesnt cincy get any respect? ok they are in the tpp 25 but only in one poll. Sure they havnt played anyone but theyve done the exact samething oklahoma has while not playing anyone. They are in the top 10 in scoring offense while 3rd in scoring defense. They also lead the nation in takeaways and turnover margin. they kicked the crap out of oregon state with their starting qb out. I think they deserve much more respect. Luckly they arnt getting it so take cincy -14 @san diego st tonight, and them money line at rutgers next week. Oh GO BLUE!!!!Hart for hiesman

I agree, i live in cincy and im a bearcats fan.. watching all of their games there defense looks phenomenal and there offense has been solid and has put up big numbers. Next week they will be tested at Rutgers and they are capable of winning that game if they can stop Ray Rice. They also play WVU and UL at home and they can win of those and still be near the top of the Big East. Unfortunately that is the reason why they don't get respect, they play in the big east and all of those teams are highly underated and UC is not a team known for their football so most people think that they are just a fluke

Because it takes more than a 4-game winning streak in a crap conference to impress people as far as rankings when there are teams that win 9 or more games for decades on end. Don't worry, if they hang on and get 10 wins they will get a respectful 20-something ranking to start next year, which they will lose within two games

I guess the same reason why no Big East team gets any credit. They all say they play weak schedules but they do not. I agree with you 100% but until they can start winning bigger games (Big East) and blowing out other conferences in bowls I think all the trash talk will remain. WVU my only team lost to USF in a terrible played game for the EERS, so therefore the trash talk will really be pumping this week on the Big East conference. We will rebound and one day we will be happy that the Big East will get the respect they so deserve.
