Louisville vs Rutgers Football Dilemma?

I am a Rutgers fan. On the one hand, I hope that Rutgers wins. If they win though, they will kill Louisvilles chances of potentially playing for a National Championship, and Earning the Big East Conference some of the respect that it deserves. It is doubtful, no impossible that Rutgers would even be considered for anything on the scale of a national championship. They would just get a better bowl bid with a win.....Who do you cheer for??

You cheer for Old Queens. You cheer for Greasy Tony's, for Douglas girls sunning on the lawn in front of Eagleton, for Hub City and the Melody and for the fact that your father sent you to old Rutgers and resolved that YOU BE A MAN, and A RUTGERS MAN would never, ever, NOT FOR ONE MOMENT, even think to cheer for anyone else! You should fling yourself off the roof of a River Dorm down to the muddy Banks of the Ol' Raritan, WHERE OLD RUTGERS EVERMORE SHALL STAND, FOR has she not stood, since the time of the flood, ON THE BANKS OF THE OL' RARITAN?!?!?!?!

I was at the gamne last night, and all I can say is R! U! R! U! R! U! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Report It

I麓m an ACC fan but really disgusted with their level of coaching and play since the expansion so I have to root for Louisville and hope that they do play in the National Championship game and win! I love having the new teams in the ACC but it would be a nice slap in the face if the Big East wins the NC.

Rutgers

I am rooting for Louisville so they will get into the NC game and get killed and we can stop hearing about how good a conference is full of nobody's with the exception of two average teams that would never make it in a top conference. Sure they can luck out and win one game but try playing teams like Georgia(last year) every week.

First of all, any Big East team that played an 8 game SEC schedule would lose 2 or more games. Louisville would stand the best chance in a real leauge.

I like Louisville and I think they have an excellent team but I am rooting for them to lose. I just want the BCS to look bad again. If there is no clear cut #2 then the system will once again be exposed for the fraud that it is. It is nothing against Louisville but I hate the BCS.

Cheer for Louisville. If the Cardinals and Boise get in, it will show how unfair and farcical the BCS is, and it might force the NCAA to adopt a playoff system. (The entire WAC is hoping Boise gets in. The Fiesta bowl would be worth US$9m to the WAC; Boise would get the lion's share, $3-4m, but the other teams would get a big cut, too. No Fiesta, no fiesta.)

This would be especially good if Louisville finished undefeated (and that includes winning a bowl game) while Ohio State and Michigan both have one loss.

One of Michigan and OSU will definitely have a loss after they play. But OSU plays Northwestern next (who scared Michigan, 17-3), and Michigan plays Indiana who *beat* Iowa (#13 at the time). If Ohio State or Michigan lose (or both!), they must go all out to ensure the other finishes at 11-1 (or 10-2), while Louisville could climb to 12-0.

This means Louisville could play Michigan and win (and go 13-0) but Ohio State plays a weaker team and wins the National Championship at 12-1, or even 11-2? How screwy is that?

It would be a perfect argument for killing off the BCS.

man, I really hope that Rutgers can prove bcs wrong. It's tough for teams in the big east to get respect, but respect comes from putting up big numbers against good teams, which is something that doesn't happen often in the big east. My solution for teams like West Virginia and Louiville to get respect is to schedule some non-conference games against big programs. that would be a huge factor in how the bcs rates them if they go undefeated. If Louiville played a team like Notre Dame, Florida, Ohio or michican, etc, it would boost the support of a lot of voters. anyways, this season If Louiville plays in the champs, it will be the most anti-climatic championship ever. The real Championship game is between Ohio State and Meatchicken.

DOESN'T MATTER, RUTGERS DOEN'T STAND A CHANCE.

Rutgers. They haven't won squat since the 70's

vote for the underdog!!! go rutgers!!! woo!!!! a couple of hours till the big game!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!
