speaking about College football preview people and others like Yahoo Sports own "Terry Bowden" they are always WRONG!.. OSU was the greatest team ever and the media was ready to hand them the title in July.. 05 it was USC.. errr Vince Young anyone?.. 04 it was Oklahoma (yea they got it right on that one Auburn woulda schooled Oklahoma and yet got no chance).. 03 media was all Auburn until Auburn lost to USC opening day and then lost 3 more games.. when was the last time they were actuall correct? now they have a team using another teams BACK-UP QB who bailed out of ranks for playing time... (USC and Booty) vs a team with a fresh QB and a fresh O-Coordinator and no clear #1 at RB (LSU - Broussard walked out Russell Graduated and Fishers at FSU).. look outside the box a second and ask.. is USC and LSU really better than Michigan? can LSU really win out with Auburn, Florida and Virginia Tech most notably sitting on their schedule? Can USC go on the road to Lincoln and win? I doubt it

It is just a guess. They are just guessing based on who looks better on paper. All the experts thought Brady Quinn would go high in the draft. Did he? OSU was supposed to blow out Florida. Oklahoma was supposed to beat Boise St. Hell the superbowl last year was supposed to be Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins. So no they dont know anything.

Well you never know what is going to happen, if one "expert" could predict what was going to happen exactly he would be the only guy, or he would just bet on all the games and make a fortune. The current "experts" tend to all make safe picks and all pick the same thing so that they either all seem fit for the job or if they are all wrong it is just a "wacky" season.

Sadly, I think Terry Bowden is one of the better prognosticators. When he's made picks for Yahoo sports, he's usually done better than his fellow "experts". I guess that's why pickers pick and players play. I'm not sure if Big Red is quite there yet or not, but I'd dearly love to see 'em just crush the Boys of Troy!
