| The lions are so dumb they will draft Jarrett from USC in the 1st round!! Please tell me what you think? |

I think I'm not surprised. Matt Millen is the Isiah Thomas of football. He makes the worst decision known to man. Jarrett's a great player but the last thing the Lions need is another WR. As long as he's the GM this team is never going to come close to going to the Superbowl, let alone win one. |

OH MY GOD TODALY WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE ..THE LIONS THATS A DUM NAME TO START WITH THERE SO NOT UP TO JARRETTS LEVEL i've seen some stupid questions and comments on here but this one beats them all. its not even a funny-stupid comment I think you are Wrong, Unless they trade #9 or higher. You said it: The Lions ARE dumb, no matter what they do. Well it is the Detroit Lions we're talking about here. To be quite honest with you nothing will surprise me with this team. I think you're dumb for assuming Jarrett even gets picked in the first round. There are at least 5 WR's better than Jarrett (he's too slow) -- Calvin Johnson, Tedd Ginn Jr., Sidney Rice, Dwayne Bowe and Robert Meachem. The Lions will take Calvin Johnson and trade him if they pick a WR at all. More than likely they'll get OT Joe Thomas from Wisconsin at #2 or possibly trade down with an even dumber team, the Cleveland Browns, and still get Thomas. The Browns want Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn and Matt Millen might just convince Cleveland he'll take Quinn at #2 if the Browns don't trade up. They may be dumb (OK, they are) but they aren't THAT dumb. Even if they took a WR in the 1st round (again), it would be Calvin Johnson, not Jarrett (who will be lucky to be drafted in the 2nd round). They will not be taking Jarret first round, that makes no sense. They do not need another receiver and the organization knows that. Dwayne Jarrett will not even be picked up first round most likely. He had a great break out season his junior year and a very mediocre player his senior year, so that definetly hurt his draft status. |
