Sucks for them seeing as they only have ONE championship in recent years to lose. I guess they will just have to go into the negatives for awhile!!!

The media gave them the one in 2003 so that can't be taken away as it doesn't exist and if it does exist then they also share one with Auburn in 2004.

Well, they also have that split national championship with LSU too. That would make two, although I think it should be ALL LSU's. Also, I'm an Auburn fan, so if they lose the title, would it go to Auburn or Oklahoma? I hope they try to give it to Auburn and then Auburn throws it back in their face! That would be priceless.

Hmmph. They both are lame.

First, you've got the NCAA enforcing rules and regulations on schools and using economic sanctions against them. The NCAA does not help the academic process, it hinders it. The NCAA makes tooo much money off of ESPN deals and allows many schools to do the same.

Second, USC should be ashamed of themselves for exploiting all of the athletes and making a real college education something that is only available to students who aren't in servitude to the athletic department.

It's a shame that the NCAA will have the upper hand in this situation, but it's a shame that USC has even found themselves there in the first place.

I'd say a deal is struck sometime between December and February where USC shares the last title they won and they lose 20 scholarships and MAYBE bowl eligibility for 2008. (I doubt they'd lose a bowl game in '08 -- after all, the Pac-10 would have a hissy-fit over all that lost revenue.)

USC probably wont lose the AP championship, becuase its not in the NCAAs power to strip it of the title. As for scholarships, I dont know...20? Probation, and loss of bowl games. They will become the same thing that happened to Washington will happen to USC.
