They will never get playing time and reach their dream. For example. Mark Sanchez was the best QB in HS in 2005. And he went to Usc and will only play 1 season. Usc has too many good QB's and RB's. I feel sorry for the kids who get scholarships to go there and "never" get a chance to play.

They would be better off going to a team in Div II.

They go 2 USC cuz they want a free national championship. Kids these dayz dont go 2 programs thats best 4 them just tha 1s that win alot.

they pay better than, Michigan, Florida, Miami, and ohio state. and if the kids are dumb enough to go their and ride the pine their whole career, instead of going somewhere else to start, then they are stupid. The NFL isnt the NBA, you dont have to go to one of the top 10 teams in college football to get drafted high.

If you want to be the best you have to compete against the best. Simple as that. They want the recognition and fame of being a high profile player at a big time school. And its not like USC is the only one. If they were the gods of college football then they would not have lost to Texas and Vince Young in the Rose Bowl. Its the same thing with Florida and OSU and Michigan. They always recruit a large numbers of incredible players because they can. This is why all the aforementioned teams are perennial powerhouses.

for the same reason Auburn has 5 RB's that were 5*'s out of high school.. they beat someone out in spring practice and fall practice and the starter goes down to injury.. they got a shot.. if they can make good on it.. they'll make MILLIONS in the pro's.. Auburn has produced 7 current starters in the NFL.. those guys are getting paid to play on sunday.. these high school kids see it and think they'll play on a gauranteed top 10 team and get a shot to play on Nat'l Television every week.. and then get the pay-off come draft day.. same with USC.. Carson Palmer is probably going to be the top QB in the league soon.. they see this.. and they want that $ and recognition

they go there to be the best. if you can make it playing at usc you will be able to make it the NFL. usc is almost like a minor league team to the NFL way above all other colleges

Because the better talent your around the better you have to be to get playing time. With this, kids wont give up and will eventually get the playing time they deserve if they fight hard enough for it. Whats wrong with 4 sets of fresh legs at running back that can get you 150 yards a game?
