I don't know anything about the coaching situation your talking about. But I do know that the smaller schools and bigger named schools do this each for their own reasons. The smaller school benefits cause it makes there strengh of schedule look better, especially if they get a score or two. And for the bigger school it's like a preseason game, seeing where they need a little work or perfecting running their plays on an opponent other than their practice squad. Pretty much all schools do this, check out some other schedules and I bet you'll be shocked to see who some of these other powerhouses are playing. |

This is the exact reason that people from the SEC hate on USC. Actually, not just SEC but most other schools don't give all the credit to USC because of their schedule. They already have it pretty easy in their conference and adding a school like Idaho is a complete joke. So big deal, they get another win and the BCS actually takes that win into consideration!!! People we are witnessing this first hand.......................The OLE "JEDI MIND TRICK" live in action. Remember it only works on the weak minded though! A lot of teams last year, and more of them this year have Division 1-AA teams on the schedule. Every team has easy games on their schedule. Big deal! Poor Idaho they don't know what's gonna hit'em yet, but they will soon find out the best team in the nation will hammer them into a pulp of submission. The reason USC play them because USC Linebacker coach use to coach at Idaho as a head coach, but he found out that Idaho is a PUNCHING BAG for the big school so he couldn't hang and come back to USC as Defensive Coordinator this year. So that hoe Idaho got into this tragic, of playing USC, final score prediction by me USC 77- 0 victory. Poor Idaho. haha I like the people who are trying to say USC has a weak schedule lol. At nebraska, notre dame, cal. Read the sites USC has one of the toughest schedules in the country. Um Ohio State opens up the season with Youngstown....at least Idaho is Div-1A.... And then they have Akron....wtf? and later they play Kent state... FIGHT FOR LIFE! While I will agree that this is a game that should not be played, some people need to look in the mirror before they start typing. When the NCAA went to an expanded schedule it became necessary to find opponents. There are a number of colleges who will not play USC. They cannot risk getting beat up. Just as Auburn and Arkansas. Schedules are made up years in advance and there is a scramble amongst colleges to fill out their schedule. It does make a difference when you also play Notre Dame, Nebraska and Michigan in one season. And beat them all, handily. So keep quiet until you check out your own teams schedule. Lots of Louisiana Techs, North Texas State and such. Best not point out problems until you have swept off YOUR porch. U.S who? |
