There were a few teams this year that were highly ranked that lost to unranked teams very badly that they should not have lost to at all, so that nips the Stanford debacle in the bud as well. In The NFL there is a saying "Any Given Sunday", that's why they play the game and that is true in college football as well, so if anybody has said any stupid statements here it is you. .. please don't give any advice on football before you look more stupid !!!!!

The only reason people say USC sucks is because they simply don't like them anyone with common sense knows USC is one of the greatest college dynasies ever, i don't like them but thats because they romped my beloved Razorbacks twice in two years i agree they would not win every year in the sec but thats not saying they would get beat by half the teams you can see for yourself this year especially that the SEC beats each other up its hard to go undefeated in the SEC much less anywhere else. Don't get mad at people for saying your team sucks its a part of sports year in and year out you are going to get scrutinized for being a fan I am a Cubs, 49ers, and Suns fan living in Cardinals, Cowboys, and Mavericks/Suns country i et hammered every year put it back in their faces back it up with stats and numbers until they can't argue anymore and then make them buy you a beer

USC was chosen as the preseason favorite, why? Because they had all the talent they could ever need. Hell, one of their RB's left because he didn't have enough room to play, and he was a decent RB. However, they come out against Idaho. Surely USC should destroy the Vandals, right? No, they won, alright, but the game was full of errors and just wasn't played right. Okay, then they smash Nebraska. Well, now we know Nebraska is as bad as they could get. Oklahoma State beat Nebraska worse than USC did. Now what? They beat Washington State, no surprise there, they suck. Then they stumble against the Washington Huskies. Okay, USC's just taking it easy, they'll win a big one soon. Then the Stanford loss. Okay, now something's wrong here, why should USC lose? They stumble against Arizona. Come on, why the Wildcats? Then they whoop up on Notre Dame. Well, who wouldn't? UCLA, that's who. Now, here they are, days away from playing the first REAL team on their schedule. All of there first opponents were cupcakes and they do not look like a good team.

im a native oregonian and hate anything from california. in fact if i ran out of gas at the oregon california bordar and it was just a few feet to a gas station in california or a 5 mile walk back to the gas station on the oregon side i would gladly walk to the oregon station. we up here wish you all would stay home and forget about oregon. that being said, usc has the best and proudest tradition in college football. over the years they have truly been one of the best teams ever to suite up for a game. but the fact remains that usc, this year, is going to play the first real team theyve played all season. no one that theyve played can even tie the shoes of oregon and their loss to cal was a total fluke. statistacly they beat the snot out of the bears. this is going to be a great game and it will determine the national champion... usc wont be it even if they win. usc has a great group of defenders but they are hurt and banged up and will not be able to stop the oregon offense. they may stop the running game a bit but they wont be able to contain the whole offense and they will not be able to contend with dennis dixon for the whole game. oregon will win the game this year, and do so quite handily. oregon 45 usc 35.
