Everyone in the country knows USC is cheating. Why isn't anything being done about it?

Just like the Yankees, USC is trying to buy championships. Everyone, including USC fans, knows Reggie Bush was bought and now they have bought Joe McKnight. The NCAA needs to WAKE UP! What a SHAME!!!

Say what you want and it doesn't matter who you're a fan of. No one and that goes for Florida and Texas, buy players like USC does. Flip and cry about it all you want, but they don't pop up in media for nothing.

First Bush, then Leinart, and finally Jarret. All of their names came up in dirt, but there's nothing to look for right? Please, I guess that makes me a UCLA fan too huh?

I am a UofM fan, so I hate USC as much as anyone but I have seen no reason to believe that anyone involved is cheating. THe players want to play for a storied program and an excellent head coach, that is not cheating, that is recuriting.

must be a ucla or ND fan.

the trojans aren't doing anything that the florida schools haven't been doing for decades leave my squad alone.

Just face it USC has a professional style program that produces excellent talent. Reggie Bush, Polamalu, Lofa tatupu, jarrett, Carson Palmer, Matt Lienhart. the program has one of the best coaches in the nation and is a very storied program.

I agree with Terence W
The Texas and Florida schools wrote the book on buying players. USC just offers Southern California and a winning tradition.

It's pretty sick if you ask me.

no! everyone in the nation now knows what kind of lunatic that you are! ha! tis to laugh! usc has best program in nation!! you, idiot, are just jealous!!!

I doubt anything will be done. NCAA doesn't want to bring shame to the sport.

uhm i'm a UCLA fan. that's right a University of Calafornia in Los Angles fan. they r not cheating. (sadly) they have a great program. they have a good coach and everything. that is what attracts good players.

If something IS going on....the NCAA wont really do anything because USC is a "money maker" for them! Big programs get a slap on the wrist...unlike smaller programs that get scholarships taken away. You wont see THAT happening to the Michigans, Ohio States, USCs, and Floridas! Myles Brand (president of the NCAA) is as corrupt as all the "supposed" programs. He knows these schools bring in revenue. Why risk that?

i agree USC unoversity of spoiled children

Its a dirty business. None of the big players have clean hands. Bush lived in a house he didn't have to pay for, and Caroll did know about that and other things from boosters. But cars, rent, suits, and cash from boosters is omnipresent in NCAA competition. The only long term solution is one that allows the players to receive compensation from the NCAA and their Athletic Association, both of which receive HUGE amounts of money of the work of these athletes. The restrictions on the student-athletes must also be removed. They cant work a summer job or make more than 2k a year so if they wanna take a girl out or grab a bite they gotta get money from their family(who often cant afford it) or they have to take some under the table. All the time other people are making money selling jerseys that represent them. Hard to keep clean when you're made to be a farmhand.

just another bitter fan whos own team prob went 7-5 last year...the NCAA has "WOKEN UP" and did investigate and found NO violations...why dont you "WAKE UP" and stay current, although the investigation was done months ago...

did you forget about Lienart, White, Cody, Patterson, Jarret, Kalil, Cushing, Maualuga, Pinkert, Smith, Sartz etc etc etc etc ...all of these players have played a big role in USCs success over the last 5 years...did USC buy all of them as well?????

are you that bitter or jealous of USCs success that you automatically assume foul play as opposed to superior recruiting, coaching and play on the field?????

get over it, yourself and your favorite teams poor play and respect that USC has built a dynasty over the last 5 years and is one of the best programs in the country!

SO I NOTICED IN PREVIOUS ANSWERS YOURE A BAMA FAN...THIS IS PERFECT!! YOURE SUCH AN IDIOT!! READ THIS THEN, SHUT YOUR MOUTH ABOUT USC!!!!!!!

THIS WAS LESS THEN A MONTH AGO!

Bama plans response on allegations
Possible recruiting violations by football coach to be subject of university report to league office

HOOVER -- The University of Alabama will submit a report to the Southeastern Conference office regarding possible NCAA recruiting transgressions by first-year coach Nick Saban in southern Florida, a source close to the university athletic department said Thursday.

Saban's recruiting activity in the Miami area was first questioned by the Web site canesport.com, which suggested Saban had more than the allowed "greeting" with prospects. During the evaluation period between April 15 and May 31, college coaches are allowed to evaluate prospects on their campuses, but NCAA rules state "no contact may occur in this evaluation."

NCAA bylaws describe contact in recruiting as "any face-to-face encounter between a prospective student-athlete and their parents or guardians and an institutional staff member during which any dialogue occurs in excess of exchange of a greeting."

If you can, name a team in the top 1/2 of NCAA D-1 football who hasn't been investigated for doing something shady. A few months ago I saw Michael Irvin interviewing Bobby Bowden. The question Irvin posed was "Why couldn't you get me to come to FSU?" Bowden's response "You cost too much." They then both laughed. This was on ESPN! It isn't just USC, it is everybody.
