| How was usc able to beat michigan so badly? |
|
this does not make sense. usc was the underdog in this one. |

USC and Pete Carroll totally outcoached Lloyd Carr and company. The Trojans thoroughly beat the Wolverines secondary which is their weakness (They were #1 against the run). Lloyd Carr kept running the ball on first and second down all the way into late in the third quarter. That was totally stupid. |

USC is a much better team than they were given credit for. DEFENSE!!! It was the typical ( Big Ten team from the midwest goes out to the big city and forgets to bring the game with them). Michigan sucks! yeahh they were. USC BABEE FOR LIFEE. heyy its all about DWAYNE JARRETT AND JOHN DAVID BOOTY! that and the whole usc team is ur answer. Two Words - Lloyd Carr It was obvious from the playoff games that Michigan was not the team it usually is, and they were matched. Many people are having a hard time handling that Michigan is not in the playoffs for the championship, but it shows up when they are matched with a team from across the US. because USC was more prepared for this game than Michigan saw what they did wrong against UCLA and fixed it. Was Michigan reported to have a pre-game pep talk with the Lions? That probably did 'em in. Michigan should've played Ohio State the cowards!!!!! GO BLUE BABY!!!! USC was coming off a bad loss and had something to prove. Michigan was complaining about not playing Ohio State again and lost focus on the game. USC also had all of their big playmakers making very big plays throughout the game. Then you can look at the USC defence who was killing Michigan's offense the whole game. USC is a good team and has always been, they just didnt get credit for their efforts this year. Im glad to see the underdog pull out in this one! More talent. UCLA beat USC by putting pressure on the quarterback. Michigan played a prevent defense which is the worst thing you can do against USC. On the offensive side, Michigan stuck to the run when passing was working better. So basically, Michigan lost due to bad coaching, on both sides of the ball. USC played great. Their defense held them in there in the 1st half. In the and half, their defense continued to play great and they really made fantastic adjustments on offense: passing a lot more. Llllloyd Carr= Horrible big game coach my background: a big usc fan, and ive been watching college football (mainly usc) for the last 10 years, i was also at the rose bowl Cause michigan are overrated and they suck |
