I believe that LSU should be ranked over USC...dont get be wrong i dislike both team but LSU is way better so far LSU is 199(PS)-32(PA) and USC is 134-55...do mind that USC is also a game behind still...what do you think?

I believe that all teams should have at least 8 games played before even talking about rankings. My point is because look at how bad Texas got beat today and how high Michigan was ranked early on. After 8 games you have a true idea how good teams really are. Right now I would say they are 1a and 1b.

yes. LSU has beaten 2 ranked opponents both of which are better than Nebraska. the pollsters even think VA tech and S Carolina are better than Nebraska. LSU put up the same points vs VA Tech as USC put up against Nebraska.

i think the pollsters are trying to make it look like the SEC isn't dominating. OU and Texas are a good example of this.

No i don't think they should be. Only since USC is the most recognized football college ever. Their recruiting is unstoppable. Which undoubtedly, makes them the #1 rank team in Nation.

Being recognized doesn't make a team automatic #1, give me a break. Everyone recognizes Notre Dame and see how much good that did them.

If USC wins tonight, they'll keep their number 1 ranking. If they lose, it goes to LSU.

This is not even a question. LSU will do to USC just what Florida did to "THE" Ohio State University last year.

LSU should be ranked above USC. LSU has blown out every team they have played yet USC was lucky to get out of Washington alive last nite.
